- I work and live in the Ballantyne Area and love it. Iam a marketing consultant for AT&T. Moved here from New York in April 07 after i went back to school in NY for communications and Im here to stay. Just trying to meet some interesting people in the Charlotte Area.
I created this site along with a few others so that young professionals who are new to the area would have away to socially network with others in their shoes. Its hard to meet like people in a loud bar in a strange city. So i thought why not set something up where people could talk first and then have an informal night out where you might recognize a few faces. Maybe make some new friends or contacts easier than you would have before. No harm no foul really, we will never charge for anything we do and are parties will offer food and drink specials that are simply not offered to the public at classy, respectable establishments throughout Charlotte. The events i plan will always be informal, never calling people out.(no corny meetings or dinners) I will just be sending tickets to you through the site with crazy specials, the cover and a place, time and date. You are more than welcome to bring anyone you want and its on you to mingle it up. I plan on throwing events every other month with the first being the "Launch Party" in March.(ill keep you updated) I am person who wants Charlotte to feel like home, this is my way to making that happen for me and others as soon as possible. Thanks for being here, hope to meet all of you in person someday soon.
-Update. The Pre Launch Party goes great. We packed Tilt on Trade. Its looking good fro August as a target date for the Official Launch Party. READY.............
